Various NHL pundits and bloggers are of the opinion Calgary Flames general manager Darryl Sutter probably isn't done dealing.
Days after shipping Dion Phaneuf and Fredrik Sjostrom to Toronto for centre Matt Stajan, wingers Niklas Hagman and Jamal Mayers and blueliner Ian White, followed by sending underachiever Olli Jokinen and winger Brandon Pruse to the NY Rangers for two other underachievers in Ales Kotalik and Christopher Higgins, the belief around the league is the Flames lack a true first line centre to compliment team captain Jarome Iginla.
SPECTOR'S TAKE: Given the depth of wingers on the Flames now it's a strong possibility Sutter is shopping around for a quality first liner but there's aren't many available options.
The best potential UFA centre is Montreal's Tomas Plekanec but as long as the Habs stay in the Eastern playoff chase they won't move him. The Calgary Sun suggested Dallas' Mike Ribeiro but the Stars aren't going to just give him away and it's believed they're more interested in defensemen and a future starting goalie.
